Say hello to Baxter (grey and white) and Ryder (red and white). Who is looking for a bonded pair of huskies? They are both approximately two years old. Will be neutered and brought up to date on vaccines before adoption. Please do your research on the breed before applying. They will need room to run and ideally a fenced in yard. If you live in the country they will need a way to be contained so they don’t run off. Baxter is more timid and will need an adopter with patience. Once in the yard we have a hard time catching him, we don’t know if this is a husky game, or if he just isn’t comfortable yet. Probably a little of both. Ryder is more outgoing and definitely is the alpha of the two. They will need to be fed separately as they do have food aggression towards one another. Need to be the only dogs in the home. Bubba & Abbie – A Love Story Looking for a New Beginning
This Christmas season changed everything for Bubba and Abbie. When their family went to pick up their dad for Christmas dinner, they were met with heartbreak—he had sadly passed away. In an instant, these two loyal companions lost the person they loved and trusted most.
Bubba and Abbie don’t understand where their human went… they only know they’re missing him. What they do know is love—and they are overflowing with it.
Bubba is a big, goofy, laid-back guy weighing in at a solid 97.6 pounds. He’s all heart, all smiles, and will absolutely need a patient human to help him shed those extra “holiday pounds.” He’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh just by being himself.
Abbie is a sweet senior pit mix who still has plenty of bounce in her step. She’s affectionate, happy, and lights up when she’s around people. Her age hasn’t slowed her down—she still enjoys moving, exploring, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get.
We were told Bubba and Abbie spent their lives traveling the country with their owner. They ride great in the car and are used to being true companions—side by side, through every mile and memory.
These two love bugs are missing their person deeply and would love nothing more than a soft place to land, a couch to share, and hearts willing to love them again.
