Tank

🐾 Meet Tank! 🐾

Tank is a big, handsome Great Dane who came to us as a stray with another Great Dane, Rocky. We don’t know if the two are related, but we do know they’re quite the pair! They can be adopted together or separately—and while they enjoy each other, they can be a whole lot of dog when they’re together. 😂

Both boys are still intact and tend to get a little overly excited and inappropriate with each other at times, including some frequent mounting. They’ll be neutered soon, which may help settle some of those behaviors, but of course there are no guarantees.

Tank is an incredibly friendly guy who loves attention and being around people. We aren’t positive of his age yet, but our best guess is around 4–5 years old. He’ll be neutered Friday, and we’ll see what our vet thinks about his age then.

Because Great Danes are a breed all their own—both in size and personality—we would prefer an adopter with Great Dane or giant-breed experience.

Tank is ready to trade shelter life for a couch big enough to hold him…although he’ll probably insist your lap works just fine. ❤️

Tater

Tater was returned and is looking for a new forever home. He will need a home with no cats. Tater is a 4 month old boxer/Dalmatian mix and we are sure there are some other breeds thrown in. He is deaf so we will require a fenced in yard. He likes to play with friendly dogs that understand he can’t hear their warning signs. He is extremely smart, and already knows some sign language. These two adorable 7-month-old Heeler mix sisters are ready to bring plenty of fun, laughter, and adventure to their new homes!
Tater Tot (the red and white girl) and Onion Ring (the black and white girl) are playful, affectionate pups who are always up for a game, a toy, or a tasty treat. They love attention and are happiest when they’re spending time with their people.
While they absolutely adore each other and would make an incredible pair, they do not have to be adopted together. If you’re looking for two built-in best friends, they’re a perfect match. If you’re only looking for one, each girl is more than ready to shine on her own.
Both girls get along well with other dogs and did great when introduced to our cats. Being Heelers, they can be a little mouthy and nippy at times, so they’ll do best with a family that understands the breed and is committed to continuing their training as they grow.
