Meet Bindi – a sweet Texas Heeler looking for her forever calm and loving home! 🐾
Bindi is not your typical Heeler—she’s gentle, affectionate, and absolutely adores people. She thrives on love and attention and would do best in a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure.
Bindi can be a little shy with loud sounds or sudden movements, often hanging her head or tucking her tail as if she thinks she’s in trouble. With patience, gentle reassurance, and lots of love, she’s learning every day that she’s safe—and what a good girl she is! 💖
She has not reacted to our dogs and is good with cats, but she will need to meet your dog before going home to ensure a smooth introduction. Bindi is estimated to be between 6–8 years old, bringing a sweet, calm energy to her forever family.
This sweet girl loves being with her person and would shine in a home where someone is around most of the time to shower her with attention and affection. She’s another favorite of mine that I would take home if I could!

She has hissed when the cats here get too close, but has never hurt one. She is not fond of our shelter dog, Benji, and will spit and swat at him so a home with no dogs would be ideal. This sweet girl is Blossom. Many of you might remember she came in with a HUGE mammary tumor. It was removed and it was benign! Yay!! Blossom is around ten years old and is just looking for a quiet home to spend her remaining years in where she can receive all the love she deserves. She is shy at first. Absolutely no aggression has been seen. She is afraid to go through doorways and can be spooked easily so a fenced yard would be ideal, but not required. Blossom would do well as the only dog or with another calm, older dog who will give her space. Did not react to the cats at the shelter. We would love to see this girl find her forever home very soon (she is getting spayed June 21st) so if you are interested please fill out a dog application from our website!
