This sweet boy is Chase. He is a six year old Border Collie. Chase lived on an acreage, but the family had to move, and unfortunately could not take Chase with them. Chase was re-homed a couple times before coming to our shelter. We were told Chase had vision impairment due to exposure to lawn fertilizer in the yard. We had him evaluated by Iowa State, and he actually has Pannus to both of his eyes. He will need a dedicated adopter who will give him eye drops for the rest of his life. We were told Chase does not get along with other dogs or cats. He does react to some of our dogs in the shelter. Chase will need a quieter home, will need a fence to keep him safe due to his vision impairment. He also barks and chases cars. Chase is very obedient, quiet, and a very sweet dog. Chief and Bella *Bonded Pair
Say hello to Bella(female) and Chief(male). These two are bonded. They are littermates and have been together their whole lives. They are 5 year old cocker spaniels. We are told they are housebroken and crate trained. Bella is a little shy but warms up quickly. They both love attention. They will do best in a quieter home with no kids or teenage kids. We were told Bella was beginning to growl at the 6 year old in the home. They were also not fond of the bigger dog in the home. Say hello to Chili Pepper! He is estimated around 3 years old and is a very vocal boy. He loves to "talk" to people and will rub up agaisnt you for lovings. He loves attention and to explore the shelter. Chili does express interest of going outdoors and enjoys our catio. He gets along with the other cats, unsure on dogs.
