Our staff and volunteers want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who has adopted a furry friend from us! Our adoption numbers have hit an all time high! We couldn’t have done it without those of you who have made the choice to change a life forever and give a shelter animal their much deserved forever home.

Cooper first came to us as a puppy and unfortunately was returned. He is now around 5-6 months old and looking for a forever home. Cooper is a friendly boy who loves to play fetch in the yard. Cooper loves attention, will need space to run off his energy, likes going on walks and would make a great addition to a home. He is young so will need some training! He will be neutered on Monday and would love for someone to come meet him! We are open tomorrow 8-12 and 1-4pm! You can also put in an application from our website! Thank you!!

Cooper

Cooper is a friendly, playful boy who likes to run around in the yard. Cooper does react to our dogs in the kennel so alert and greet will be required. Ideally he would be the only dog in his home. Copper is a young, friendly mix looking for his forever home. He does not react to our dogs in the shelter. Unsure on cats. He is jumpy and can be nippy at times. He will need training. He does need someone home more often then not as he does show some signs of separation anxiety. Will need a yard to burn his energy off. Calling all beagle lovers! We have three boys looking for forever homes! Tod was born January 11th, 2025 and Copper and Chief were born December 25, 2024. All three are friendly and playful, but Chief is a little bit shy and we feel will need a quieter home with no small kids. Cora is a sweet, shy girl looking for her forever home! She lived with another cat, unsure on dogs. She is timid and would do best in a more calm home.

This sweet girl is Cora, and she is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Cora was returned to the shelter for digging. She is a 1-2 year old Aussie mix. She is learning how to walk on a leash, is still a little timid towards new situations, but she is so sweet! We have never seen any aggression out of this girl. She gets along with dogs, cats and people. She can be a little nippy when excited, but with training this could be corrected. Cowboy is an eight month old heeler/border collie mix. He is a friendly guy who gets along with kids and dogs. No cats. He is a little nippy still and will need some training. This pretty lady is Cricket! Cricket is 5-6 years old. She loves to play fetch, she is high energy but snuggly after she gets her energy out. She loves to lay in your lap and give kisses. She does great on walks and has good leash manners. She would do well with kids. She is dog selective so would need to meet your dog or be the only dog. Loves water/ to swim a lot! Meet Cyclop (Cy). He was seized off the same property as Bear Bear, the dog on 6/15/21. He was skinny, had only one eye, and was left outside to fend for himself. Since then he has been recovering extremely well and even went to Iowa State for his neuter and eye surgery! They gave him a clean bill of health and he is now ready for his forever home! Cy is estimated around 2 years old and would do best in a calm home with no small children. He is shy at first, but is the sweetest boy once he warms up.
