Dougie

This sweet older gentleman would love a home of his own. Dougie was found as a stray so no history is known about him but he sure is sweet!! Dougie will be neutered on the 8th of January and we will get better estimate of his age. By his teeth we would guess 6-7 years old. He loves treats, he is calm in nature and doesn’t react to our cats and dogs. He loves being with his person and all the attention he can get! Dozer

Dozer is a happy, estimated to be around two year old bulldog mix. Dozer loves to play and his favorite thing in the whole world are tennis balls! He can be a little shy when first meeting him, but grab a ball and he is your BFF. He is very athletic and can jump very high. He will need a yard to burn on his energy. Fence preferred. He does react to some of our dogs in the shelter so we would require a meet and greet with your dog. Unsure on cats. Dozer has been neutered and was brought up to date on vaccines. Dracula is an estimated 2-year-old pup with the perfect mix of playfulness and couch-potato energy. He’s the best of both worlds—always ready for a game or adventure, but just as happy to lounge around and soak up attention.
He’s a friendly, goofy guy who loves people, food, and treats. With all that enthusiasm, Dracula can get a little excited and jump up, so he’ll need some help polishing his manners. Because of this, he could easily knock small kids over, so a home with older children would be the best fit.
Dracula will need to meet your dog before adoption to ensure it’s a good match. With a bit of guidance and consistency, he’ll bloom into an amazing companion.

PUPDATE: The puppies are 6 weeks old! They had their first set of vaccines today and are getting extremely active! We did a DNA test on Rooster and his results are below! We will be adopting these little guys out in a couple weeks. If you are interested you will need to put in an application for review.

Appointments will only be made if your application is approved.

With the Aussie/Heeler breeds please research their needs! They won’t do well in apartments. They will need stimulation and exercise. They will need training, time and dedication.

Ducky

Ducky is 8 weeks old and ready to find her forever home! She is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program because she is not yet old enough for her spay surgery. 

How it works:
• Take your kitten home now and foster until he’s old enough for surgery.
• The adoption fee is $100 and includes neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, and combo testing.
• Kiya Koda Humane Society will schedule the appointment when the kitten is ready.
• Adopters are responsible for transporting the kitten to and from the appointment.
• The adoption is finalized after the required veterinary services are completed.
