Gunner is a two year old Mountain Cur mix looking for his forever home. Gunner is a very sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, but we would recommend meet and greet with your dog. Unsure on cats. He likes to run around in the yard. No apartments. He likes to receive love and attention and is just a very sweet boy. Meet Gunner! 🐾

Gunner is a handsome 3½-year-old Boxer with a heart full of love and a goofy personality to match! He can be a little shy at first—especially with men—but once he realizes you’re a friend, he’ll be your shadow. This big boy loves attention and wants to be right by your side (or on your lap if you let him!).

Gunner doesn’t always realize how big he is and could easily knock over small children in his excitement, so a home with older kids would be best. He would need to meet any resident dogs before adoption to make sure they’re a good match.

He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go home! With a little training and lots of love, Gunner is sure to be a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion. ❤️

Bobbin, Stitch, and Guppy are 11 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes! They are available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program because they are not yet old enough for their neuter surgeries.
How it works:
• Take your kitten home now and foster until he’s old enough for surgery.
• The adoption fee is $100 and includes neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, and combo testing.
• Kiya Koda Humane Society will schedule the appointment when the kitten is ready.
• Adopters are responsible for transporting the kitten to and from the appointment.
• The adoption is finalized after the required veterinary services are completed.

Public Service Announcement: Gustav is delightfully weird.

Somewhere along the way, a few of Gustav’s instruction manuals got misplaced… and honestly, we wouldn’t have him any other way.
This 1-year-old Shepherd mix is a lovable goofball who approaches life with unlimited enthusiasm and… questionable coordination.
Want to play with another dog? Absolutely! Does he know how to play with another dog? Well… he’s still workshopping that part.
Cats? Turns out they were the scary ones.
Running? Oh, that’s an event. Before taking off, Gustav performs his signature little “wind-up” like he’s preparing for liftoff. Once the engines are engaged, there is no stopping him.
He loves everyone. Truly. Whether you want to be his friend or not is merely a suggestion in Gustav’s mind. Personal space? Never heard of it. He can be a little mouthy in that goofy puppy way, but we’ve never seen any aggression—just a young dog trying to figure out this whole “being a dog” thing.
Gustav is quirky, awkward, hilarious, and impossible not to love. He just needs someone willing to show him that the world isn’t so scary and that it’s okay if life doesn’t always make sense… because it certainly doesn’t to Gustav.

We would like you all to meet Gwendolyn, Gwen for short! Gwen came to us as stray so no history is known about her. She has had puppies in the past. Gwen is a friendly girl who gets along with other dogs, does not react to cats, and loves to play fetch in the yard. Gwen goes to the vet on October 9th for her spay and we will have a better estimate of her age. If we had to guess we would say around 4 years old.
