Meet Laverne & Shirley!
This dynamic duo is looking for their forever home together! Laverne, a playful Pomsky, and Shirley, an adorable Shih Tzu mix, are best friends and completely bonded—where one goes, the other follows.

These two are full of energy and love nothing more than running and playing in the yard. A fenced-in yard is a must for them so they can safely zoom around to their hearts’ content. They both adore attention and will happily soak up all the love you have to give.

Because of their strong bond, they need to be adopted together and will do best as the only pets in the home. They love people but have a high chase drive when it comes to cats and smaller animals.

Layla is a sweet girl who needs to be the only animal in her home or needs a meet and greet with your dog. She was adopted as a puppy from Kiya Koda 6-7 years ago and we were told she got in a couple fights with other dogs. We haven’t seen much reaction towards other dogs in the kennel. She did not react to the cats when we brought her inside. She doesn’t play with toys in the yard. She would love a family where she could just hang out with her person or people. She is a friendly girl who would love for you to come meet her soon!

Say hello to Layla. Layla is a one year old German shepherd/Rottweiler mix looking for a forever home. Layla is housebroken, has been around kids but we recommend older kids. She is sweet and likes attention. Layla was around cats in the past and we were told she did ok. She does need to be the only dog in her home. An experienced adopter in her breeds is needed. Leia is a stunning 5-year-old Boxer with a big heart and an even bigger personality! She’s super friendly and absolutely loves attention — this girl never turns down a good belly rub or cuddle session. Leia wants to be the star of the show and would do best as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the love for herself.

Meet Leia!
Leia may not be the loudest dog in the room, but she just might be the one who steals your heart.
This sweet girl came to us as a stray, so we don’t know what her life looked like before arriving at Kiya Koda. What we do know is that she’s been nothing but gentle, kind, and incredibly sweet with everyone she’s met. Right now she’s a little scared and confused, and it’s easy to see she’s longing for a place where she can finally relax and feel safe.
We estimate Leia to be around 5–6 years old, although our veterinarian will provide a better age estimate when she is spayed and vaccinated.
Leia is a calm, lower-energy girl who would love a quiet home where she can enjoy the simple things in life—a soft bed, gentle pets, and someone to remind her every day that she’s loved. She doesn’t appear to enjoy the company of other dogs, so we feel she’d be happiest as the only dog in the home. Since she came in as a stray, we don’t know how she does with cats or children.
If you’ve been looking for a loyal companion who will quietly stand by your side, Leia may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Sometimes the dogs who ask for the least are the ones who give the most.
