Our staff and volunteers want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who has adopted a furry friend from us! Our adoption numbers have hit an all time high! We couldn’t have done it without those of you who have made the choice to change a life forever and give a shelter animal their much deserved forever home.

Mr. Mosby

Mr. Mosby is 8 weeks old and ready to find his forever home! He is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program because he is not yet old enough for his neuter surgery.
How it works:
• Take your kitten home now and foster until he’s old enough for surgery.
• The adoption fee is $100 and includes neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, and combo testing.
• Kiya Koda Humane Society will schedule the appointment when the kitten is ready.
• Adopters are responsible for transporting the kitten to and from the appointment.
• The adoption is finalized after the required veterinary services are completed.

Mr. Pibb is a younger male looking for his forever home! Estimated around 1 year old, he loves to play and explore. He enjoys climbing on cat trees and being near people. He gets along with other cats, unsure on dogs.

Murphy

Murphy appears to be a younger boy who absolutely loves attention and being close to his person. This sweet beagle mix is as friendly as they come and does great with everyone he meets—including kids.
Murphy would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as we suspect he’ll happily follow his nose like a true beagle. He’s met a few of our shelter dogs and doesn’t pay them much attention, and we believe he could live with cats without any issues, although he did seem a little afraid of them here at the shelter. He hasn’t quite come out of his shell here at the shelter or shown much interest in playing yet, but we truly believe he will blossom in a home environment with someone of his own.

Mya is a 3 year old mix looking for a new forever home. Approximately 30 pounds. Mya is a sweet, shy girl who would do best in a quiet home with no kids or dog savvy older kids. Mya does not react to the other dogs in the shelter but a meet and greet with your dog will be required. Gets along with cats. If you would like to meet Mya stop by the shelter soon!
