Ruby is a friendly 2 year old boxer/pit mix looking for a new forever home. She was returned for not getting along with the other dog in the home. We were told she is ok with cats and kids. She is jumpy so could knock small children down. She is a happy girl with lots of energy so she will need a yard to run and play in. This handsome guy has been waiting so patiently for his forever home. Rudy is a one year old mix who loves to run and play in the yard. Fence preferred. He knows some commands and walks well on a leash. He needs an active family and would love a friendly dog to play with. He did fine with the cats inside on leash but he’s a happy, energetic boy and might think it’s fun to chase one. Say hello to Ruger! Ruger is a German Shorthair Pointer and was born February of 2023. Ruger is in need of a new forever home! He is a fun, playful guy. He appears to get along with other dogs, but a meet and greet will be required with your dog(s). We still need to cat test him. He is neutered and been fully vaccinated. He is a very smart dog and aims to please. He could easily be trained for hunting or a companion with an active family! 🐾 Meet Rusty! 🐾

Rusty is a one-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing in at just 11 pounds of adorable energy! This little guy loves to run and play—he’d be happiest in a home with a fenced yard where he can zoom around safely and burn off that energy.

Rusty can be a bit timid at first, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to give him time to build confidence and feel secure. Once he trusts you, his sweet and playful personality shines through.

He does great with other dogs and has done fine with the cats in the shelter (though he may give them a playful chase from time to time). Because he’s still gaining confidence, a home with older, respectful kids would be best.

Rusty is ready to find a loving family who can help him come out of his shell and enjoy all the good things life has to offer. 💛
