💕 Meet Nori 💕
Nori is one of those dogs who makes you wonder what her story was before she found her way to us.
She was safely trapped near Norwalk after spending some time out on her own. We don’t know where she came from or what her life looked like before, but we do know she has had puppies in her past. We’re guessing she is somewhere around 3–5 years old, and when she is spayed Wednesday, we’ll have our vet give us their best guess too.
What we’ve learned since Nori arrived is that she is an incredibly sweet girl. ❤️ She loves attention and already knows sit, shake, lay down and stay! Someone taught this girl some manners along the way, and she hasn’t forgotten them.
Nori keeps her kennel clean and has been such a good girl for us. She did not react to our cats, and she doesn’t react to the other dogs as they come and go around her kennel. If you have another dog, we will require a meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable.
After being out there on her own, Nori deserves to know what it feels like to belong somewhere again. A soft bed. A family. Someone who looks at her and says, you’re home now. 🥹❤️
We have a feeling someone is going to be very lucky to call this sweet girl theirs.

Nova
Nova is a 3-4 year old brindle mix who came to us very skinny, very scared and appeared to not know the outside world. She took awhile to trust and warm up to us, but now is sweet as can be. She likes to play with our resident dog, but sometimes he gets a little mouthy and she doesn't care for that. We recommend a meet and greet with your dog. She does not bother the cats in the shelter. We are working on going potty outside, but this will need to continue in her forever home. She is startled by loud noised and does not like fast movements. A quiet home with no children would be best for her. She likes to sit on your lap and be loved on. She will need a patient adopter, but she has so much potential and someone would be very lucky to have this sweet girl. If you would like to meet Nova please call the shelter for an appointment.
