Silhouette

❤️ Meet Silhouette ❤️
Every once in a while, a dog comes along that the staff just can’t stop talking about. Silhouette is one of those dogs.
Silhouette is a beautiful 4–5-year-old mix, and she is every bit as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. This girl is SO incredibly sweet. She can be shy when she finds herself in new situations, but there is absolutely no aggression—she just needs a little time to realize she’s safe.
And once she does, you get to see the Silhouette we’ve all fallen in love with. ❤️
Inside with us, she relaxes, her personality comes out, and you get to see her playful side. Outside is still a little scary for her, which is why Silhouette needs to be an inside dog and truly part of the family.
She really is the perfect balance. She’ll play and have some fun, but she also knows how to settle down and just enjoy being with you. Not too much energy, not a couch potato—just a really wonderful companion.
Silhouette has done well with both dogs and cats, and she has quickly become a staff favorite around here.
We could probably write a book about all the things we love about this girl, but the truth is pretty simple: Silhouette is just a really, really good dog. She deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved and finally let that sweet personality shine every single day.
Apply to meet Silhouette on our website.

Silvie

Silvie was seized from a neglect situation. She had kittens previously and was very skinny. Since then she has recovered and is now ready for her forever home. Silvie will need someone who will be patient while she learns to trust you. She is very shy and scared at first but has never shown any aggression. Once she warms up she  is a quiet, laid back girl. She would do best in a calm environment with other calm animals or as the only animal. Please fill out an application if interested.

Skiff

Skiff is a 1-2 year Australian Cattle Dog that was surrendered by his owner due to killing chickens. Skiff is a very sweet boy who loves attention. Skiff gets along with cats but does need to be the only dog. He is not housebroken and lived outside in his previous home. He has a tendency to chase vehicles so a fenced in yard or a country home with very little traffic would be ideal. He knows shake/sit. Has never worked cattle before. NO CHICKENS. Gets along with kids. If you would like to meet Skiff please fill out an application or call the shelter to schedule an appointment.

Skye

This beautiful girl Skye is having the worst luck finding the right fit as her forever home. Although, she loves to come back and play with her boyfriend Benji, we would love to see her in the perfect home. Skye has been returned twice. Once for jumping the fence and running the neighborhood, and this last time for not being compatible with cats. Skye is a high energy girl who needs someone who has the time and patience to train her. She is smart, loves attention and really is a wonderful girl! She gets along with other dogs, NO CATS, and does jump on you so would do best in a home with older kids. If you would are interested in Skye please fill out a dog application from our website for review. Thank you!

Smiley

Meet Smiley ❤️
There is just something about Smiley.
Maybe it’s his goofy grin. Maybe it’s the way he happily comes over to say hello. Or maybe it’s because behind those bright eyes is a dog who’s still learning that the world can be a safe place.
Smiley is around 2 years old and has so much potential. He enjoys people and loves being included, but he’s also a sensitive guy who can be unsure in new situations. With patience, consistency, and a little understanding, we believe his confidence will continue to grow.
He enjoys walks, treats, spending time outdoors, and being with the people he knows and trusts. Watching him open up and become more comfortable is incredibly rewarding, and we know his future family will see just how special he is.
Smiley has done well with some dogs and would be happy to meet any potential canine companions. He would do best in a home with older children who can respect his space as he settles in. We also don’t feel apartment living would be the right fit for him.
Every dog deserves someone who sees the good in them. We see it in Smiley every single day. We know there’s a family out there who will look beyond the shelter walls, give him the time he needs, and discover the wonderful companion waiting to bloom.
Could Smiley be the missing piece you’ve been searching for? Please apply for him today. His application can be found on our website!
