Meet Beethoven 
This 2-year-old deaf pit mix is basically a living cartoon character—in the best way possible. Beethoven is playful, affectionate, and has a big goofy personality that keeps everyone smiling. He loves attention, loves to play, and once he gets his energy out, he settles down nicely.
Because he’s deaf, Beethoven experiences the world a little differently—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He does best with visual cues, routine, and people who understand how to work with a deaf dog. (Think more “tap on the shoulder, wave in his line of sight,” not surprise appearances from behind.)
He does well with our other dogs and doesn’t seem reactive, but a meet and greet will be required to make sure it’s the right match.
Due to his hearing impairment, older kids only would be best so he isn’t accidentally startled.
Like many white bullies, Beethoven does have skin allergies and will need a skin-sensitive diet and ongoing care. Potential adopters should be aware there may be additional costs involved in keeping his skin healthy and comfortable.
Beethoven is truly a great, friendly boy with a goofy, “not a lot going on upstairs but I’m having a GREAT time anyway” kind of vibe—and honestly, that’s part of his charm.
