Meet Leia!

Leia may not be the loudest dog in the room, but she just might be the one who steals your heart.

This sweet girl came to us as a stray, so we don’t know what her life looked like before arriving at Kiya Koda. What we do know is that she’s been nothing but gentle, kind, and incredibly sweet with everyone she’s met. Right now she’s a little scared and confused, and it’s easy to see she’s longing for a place where she can finally relax and feel safe.

We estimate Leia to be around 5–6 years old, although our veterinarian will provide a better age estimate when she is spayed and vaccinated.

Leia is a calm, lower-energy girl who would love a quiet home where she can enjoy the simple things in life—a soft bed, gentle pets, and someone to remind her every day that she’s loved. She doesn’t appear to enjoy the company of other dogs, so we feel she’d be happiest as the only dog in the home. Since she came in as a stray, we don’t know how she does with cats or children.
