Meet Pudge 🐾

Pudge is a handsome neutered gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart — once you earn it.

This sweet boy came to us as a stray and had a pretty rough start adjusting to shelter life. Everything was new and scary, and he let us know he wasn’t a fan at first. But with time, patience, and lots of gentle care, Pudge has made incredible progress.

Now? He asks for attention and enjoys being near his people. He’s learning that love and safety go hand-in-paw.

Pudge does have a little quirky streak when it comes to pets. One moment he’s leaning in and soaking up the affection… and the next he may decide he’s had enough and give a little “hey, personal space!” chomp. Because of this, he’d do best with a cat-savvy adopter who understands feline body language and respects when he’s ready for breaks. He does not react to the other cats in the shelter, unsure on dogs.

Pudge is the kind of cat who bonds deeply with “his person.” He just needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to let him move at his own pace.
