Meet Tucker

Tucker is a handsome possible Lab/Husky mix with a BIG voice and an even bigger heart. This boy is very vocal when he wants to play or get attention — it’s just how he communicates! While his enthusiasm can sound a little intimidating at first, Tucker has not shown any aggression. He’s just an expressive guy who wears his feelings on his sleeve.

Because of his size and booming voice, Tucker could be overwhelming for small children. He’ll do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can help him feel safe and build his confidence.

Tucker is showing signs of anxiety, and the shelter environment has been stressful for him. We believe he’ll really blossom once he’s in a calm home where he can relax and learn that the world isn’t so overwhelming.

The good news? Tucker is very treat motivated, which will be a big help with training and building trust. He is scheduled to be neutered next week, and we’re hopeful that with time, structure, and love, Tucker will grow into an amazing companion.
