Murphy appears to be a younger boy who absolutely loves attention and being close to his person. This sweet beagle mix is as friendly as they come and does great with everyone he meets—including kids.
Murphy would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as we suspect he’ll happily follow his nose like a true beagle. He’s met a few of our shelter dogs and doesn’t pay them much attention, and we believe he could live with cats without any issues, although he did seem a little afraid of them here at the shelter. He hasn’t quite come out of his shell here at the shelter or shown much interest in playing yet, but we truly believe he will blossom in a home environment with someone of his own.
