Meet Brantley 
Brantley is a 3½-year-old Chocolate Lab mix, and underneath that handsome face is one incredibly sweet boy just looking for someone to call his own.
Brantley can be a little anxious in the shelter environment, but get him away from all the noise and commotion and you see a completely different dog. He relaxes so much and just wants to be right there with you. 
He loves walks, hikes and being outdoors, and he would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal sidekick. Brantley is the kind of dog who wants to stick close to his person — wherever you’re going, he’s ready to go too.
He gets along with other dogs and when we introduced him to our cats, he actually seemed more scared of them than anything. 
Brantley was found as a stray, so unfortunately we don’t know anything about his life before coming to us. We do know he’s a jumper when he gets excited, so he could easily knock over little ones without meaning to. Older children may be a better fit.
The shelter just isn’t where Brantley shows his best self. Give this sweet boy some space to breathe, a person he trusts and a good walk to explore the world, and you get to see who he really is.
