Meet CHEWBARKA! 
The name alone should probably tell you what you’re getting into with this little guy.
Chewbarka is a 4-month-old Dachshund/Terrier mix who currently weighs 17.4 pounds. He’s got the long body, the short little legs…and enough energy for a dog twice his size.
This boy LOVES to play. Run. Play some more. Run some more. Repeat. A fenced-in yard would be a dream for Chewbarka so he can get those little legs moving!
He does well with other dogs and has been okay with our cats. He’s friendly, fun and absolutely adorable — but he is also VERY nippy right now. Those puppy teeth are working overtime! Because of that, a home with small children probably wouldn’t be the best fit.
Chewbarka is still very much a puppy. He’ll need training, patience and someone willing to teach him how to be the best little short-legged gentleman he can be.
