Buddy is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix weighing about 110 pounds of lovable personality. While he’s not sporting a fluffy coat at the moment, his breed mix means he will need regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best.

Buddy is a friendly, social boy who truly loves being with his people. He’ll happily follow you around just to be near you and soak up attention. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be part of daily life, Buddy is your guy.

He already knows sit, shake, and down, and he’s eager to please — especially when treats or praise are involved! Because of his size and excitement when greeting people, Buddy does jump up sometimes, so a home without very small children would be safest to avoid accidental knockdowns.

Buddy will need to meet any resident dogs before adoption to be sure it’s a good fit. The good news is he has not shown any reactivity toward our shelter cats, which is a great sign for homes with dog-savvy felines.
